My friend and I came here very late on a Sat night so the dinner crowd had cleared out but we were welcomed with really friendly staff. We shared the Butter Chicken, Dal Makhani, rice and garlic naan. The garlic naan was so tasty and comforting and both dishes were full of flavour and a generous serving size. The lady was so lovely who was serving us and even chatted to us about the difference between British-Indian food and traditional Indian food. I would definitely go back!
Delicious food faultless service. I am a regular customer here. This is actually cozy place waitress is very sweet. I bet, there are any better tasting indian food in sydney than this. Highly recommended.
We were traveling when we found this beautiful Indian restaurant in Sydney. We got good welcome by waitress. Interior was cozy menu has very large array of dishes. We ordered chicken jalfrezi, lamb masala naan basket. Believe me, this was so delicious. Naan were excellent too. Very very good Indian restaurant.
Terrible food served with a generous portion of sarcasm. All the starters were stale, pakodas were uncooked and when we informed the waitress, we were told that it was because the cuisine was British Indian and what would a bunch of well traveled Indians know about it. Well, I never knew that British Indian food was just an excuse to serve uncooked food.Suffice to say I won’t be going back there again. If you are planning to go there, I have two words “Good Luck”.P.S. The only bright spot in an otherwise terrible experience was the wine because it was served straight out of the bottle.
Generally I never believe in writing reviews however professionalism of this place deserves one. It happen that we were here for dinner on Friday night. Restaurant was full with happy faces. Ambience was lively with mesmerising music. We got the centre seat next to bunch of guys who were really rude and doing all nasty things. They came up buying a deal or something. All drama was to get the refund. We can clearly hear all their conversation. They ordered whole bunch of items, deliciously ate everything and kept on nagging. Waitress was humble and kept calm despite bearing the unnecessary comments. On an item, she politely suggested to check the deal which they booked and list of items mentioned in it. We really appreciate the professionalism One MB has and the girl handling the situation. Would have given 10stars 5 for staff and 5 for food :)We also ordered pakoda, veg samosa, butter chicken, chilli garlic, lamb sagwala and bottle of wine (riddoch coonawarra shiraz). Starters were properly cooked with perfect blend of spices.Food was absolutely delicious and will definitely go back again
