While their prices may be a bit higher than what you would find in other areas like Cabramatta or Fairfield, the food is worth every penny. The pho is a standout dish, with a flavorful broth and generous portions. The combination grilled pork and spring roll vermicelli is also a tasty option, despite the noodles being a bit too wet. The restaurant's intimate setting and friendly service make it a must-visit spot for lovers of Vietnamese food. Whether you're in the area or willing to go out of your way, An Nam Café is a hidden gem that should not be missed.
What a cute and modest Vietnamese eatery in the heart of the Cross. Paid $14 for a large bowl of phở đặc biệt (special combination pho) which is a bit pricey when compared to your usual places in Cabramatta, Fairfield or general South West area. Decent portion, authentic flavours though I felt the broth could have had a bit more flavour. Surprised that their combination pho doesn't have tripe! Also ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee for $5. Right levels of bitterness but not enough ice and condensed milk in my opinion. Regardless, glad I've found a place to satisfy my Vietnamese cravings whilst at work!
Only have had breakfast here and also picked up some pre-made meals.
Almost there You want to love this market of Thai goodness curated with high standards for provenance and quality.
Anyone who doesn't give this spot five stars doesn't know what they are doing.
