I... read more This is on my go to places while staying in Potsdam. Plenty of beers on tap in a nice little Courtyard where you can sit outside. The food is also excellent. I had the bacon cheeseburger with fries and it was awesome. I never walked put of here disappointed.

The ambience and crowd is youthful and the beers are excellent. The service is a bit slow.

Not the best greeting when I arrived requesting a table, the guy at the bar could not be bothered with me from the momrnt I arrived. Despite my efforts of using my limited German to try and make an effort. A lady came and took my drink order while I browsed the menu for what I would like to eat. My pint arrived in good time, however that was where the story ends...Literally. I sat...and sat...and sat. Managing to finish my drink without being approached again. The restaurant was nowhere near full at the time yet it appeared/felt like I was invisible. Got my jacket, put money on the bar for my drink and left. Guy behind the bar didnt care one bit. If I was management I would lose the dead wood and employ people who appreciate the custom that tourism/business travellers provide.

With this heat there’s almost nothing like that first sip of a nice cold drink outside in the shadow of some enormous tree... For that this place does deliver. Friendly service, easy-going beergarden atmosphere and classic “Kneipenfood” is what you get when you stop by here.
