It was very nice, and the host was very friendly. The food was plentiful and very good.
The food was excellent. If you're in Potsdam and like fish, you should eat here. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The Butt is very clean and absolutely appealing. The service and food were excellent.
What can I say, except that everything was excellent. From the reception (no reservation to the farewell, everything was perfect. The staff member (presumably the boss was extremely friendly and welcoming and always had a good joke ready. That's how I like it. The food was excellent! Not a single bone in the fish, perfectly cooked, everything of the finest quality. Best wishes from Hanover ;

After a year there were three of us in the Butt again. We have been regular customers over the years. This time, however, the side dish for my wife's fall menu did not meet our expectations at all. The fried potatoes were black and porcini mushrooms were present in minimal quantities. The gratin for our daughter's meal was also partly burnt black. We're not used to that, especially since the price category is in the higher segment. When we pointed it out, it was cleared away in a rather unfriendly manner without saying a word of regret. Not to mention a “free” coffee. The entire lunch cost us over €100. It could have been more, but not with the complacency of the service staff. Black fried potatoes should never leave a kitchen. Very cozy atmosphere and very delicious food. It's great to see that her job is fun. Very recommended.
Unfortunately, everything tastes from the pan right after fish, as in the same fat fried shrimp, potato buffer, various fish varieties. Service, salads, dessert are top.

Nice little restaurant. The plates all looked very lovingly equipped and also tasted well for everyone. I liked it, too. 1 star trigger, because the waiter was a little bit unhappy and constantly played at his piercing on his ear and then grabbed our dishes.
