Another shot worth it. I changed my rating from terrible to good, I had a problem on Friday night (not with the food or service, which was good) but with a bar-patron. The owner, Rick Dugan was informed and called me directly and is about to solve the incident. I really found him to be apologetic and professional, which is very appreciated. I plan to give another try when I'm in DC. View all feedback.

Standing Brunchplatz in Kentlands. The setting is intimate and the service is really good. We enjoyed the Hush puppies most sweet butter is the best I wish they sold separately) and the fried oysters were tasteful portion sizes are generous. The drinks were also well made. Just knock off a star because the soft shell crab sandwich was a little bland, and the prices also feel high for Kentlands.
Great restaurant. I have dined twice here – the first time I was back in November and last for my birthday I invited friends to me. Beautiful atmosphere, EXCELLENT food and friendly staff. They don't take reservations, but the owner kept a table for us until all my friends arrived. All, a consistently wonderful experience. Very recommended!
The food was absolutely amazing! We couldn't stop the order. We ordered the children's clams with frits from the children's menu, the grilled oyster trio, the Maryland oysters, a beet salad, drinks, dessert and another seafood dish (the name slipped my head. The service was incredible. I loved lighting and music. Very relaxing. It was a great experience. Very impressed.
Came here to kill some time on a Sunday. Staff was very inviting. Wife and I ordered a couple cocktails, both were excellent. Ordered a dozen oysters, some raspberries and whetstones, very fresh. I had mussles for lunch and my wife had the shrimp poboy. The mussles were delicious, but be warned, heavy on garlic (in a good way). The poboy was great as well and the frites were thin and crispy, just the way we like them. Overall, the food, ambiance, service, all top notch. 5/5 will be back more often. Thanks for a great experience!
