Potomac Grocer

I made my first visit to Potomac grocer in search of high quality seafood and was not disappointed. The gentleman behind the counter could tell I didn't necessarily have a plan, and was able to steer me in the right direction with some probing. When I wasn't particularly fond of the pieces of halibut on display, he happily went to get some more from the back and cut some new filets to my weight specifications. He even asked how I planned to cook it and offered his expertise. The fish was not only noticeably fresh and high quality, but was beautifully cut. I would happily venture out of my way to come back here for seafood.

I absolutely love this food! The service feels like it's straight out of a small town, and I really appreciate the excellent recommendations for great dishes. The overall quality of the food is top-notch!

I really appreciate how they offer advice to customers on cooking their diverse selection of meat products. The store is well-stocked, the meat is fresh, and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommended!

The restaurant offers fresh fish, excellent meat, delicious sides, sandwiches, soups, salads, and a selection of beers and wines. The service is friendly and consistently top-notch. I'm planning to grab some sandwiches and halibut this afternoon.

I went to this place for a few years and would be very good for a grocery store and/or a fast bite! QUALITY OF QUALITY Food for a FAIR PRICE: The owners are great! Always a pleasure to stop. Here have bought 2x a week for the last few years, and for most part the staff is good. On occasion I see the owner, Beth, she is always so friendly and helpful.. I always try to talk to Lisa (Elisabeth), as it is reliable and always on point in every respect! She is always so attentive, friendly, quick and helpful with my orders, every time! Always knows what's going on, and have first experienced their big repore with a number of other customers! For me, the 2 most important things are quality product and quality service! This place has that and I would recommend this place to everyone.
