Doesn't look much from the highway, but is gorgeous inside, with a cry... read more Dropped in here for lunch on our way up to Montemonaco, what a treat it turned out to be. Doesn't look much from the highway, but is gorgeous inside, with a crystal clear mountain stream out back. Their Australian was as good as our Italiano, so it was order by mime pointing at a dish on the menu each, hoping it would be good. The Nonna smiled knowingly... We were surprised when the food served was obviously not what we ordered, but was very good we enjoyed it. When another course was delivered with smiles gestures, we looked at each other, shrugged, enjoyed it also. It was, I think, the 3rd or 4th course that contained our original order ! We realised we had just experienced some genuine, wonderful, Italian country hospitality that we will never forget. We did have difficulty walking back to the car ! Oh, and the cost of that delicious Italian feast ? Just the 2 dishes we ordered. Priceless.

The seemingly unpretentious restaurant is located in a very inviting place. at the edge of a fresh flow. the rather traditional menu offers cutter with salami o... read more The seemingly unpretentious restaurant is located in a very inviting place. at the edge of a fresh flow. the rather traditional menu offers cutter with salami of the traditional place, gricia, cacio and exquisite pepper, can not miss the amartarian. good seconds, grilled, steak. vegetables all strictly of the vegetable garden. a good mixed salad. I'm always happy to come back!
