If you’re looking for a luxurious beach club, Treville is it. The staff are incredibly gracious and helpful. We had two chairs in front and two behind. The water taxi was prompt and we didn’t have to deal with overcrowding. The views and the grounds...were gorgeous. Our lunch on the terrace was delicious and the bottle of Prosecco on the beach hit the spot. My only suggestion would be for the waitstaff in the restaur... View all feedback.
What Fatima Galli doesn't like about Le Sirene:
we were here last year and had a great meal. in this year, the staff seemed to be burnt out at best. eating was bad. even the pizza was better in new jersey. the service was reluctant. the beach club is definitiw slipping. View all feedback.
Excellent lunch in September. We took the walk down to Laurito Beach from Al Barilotto del Nonno (about 10 minutes via 300 stairs). The staff was very friendly and took the time to explain everything on the menu. The fried gnocchi with arugula was one of our favorite meals during our 2 week trip in Italy- highly recommended. La Sirene even offers a boat ride back to the center of Positano for free (tips are appreciated though). The approach on the water is one of the best views of Positano. Worth the effort.
On 31st july 2015, we rchd ths hotel by stairs, its quite a big climb. I asked the hotel if there is another way as my wife and daughter were too tired, but thy said thr is no way. it took us 45 mins to climb up with great difficulty. later I came to know that thy have boat service to positano beach. I dun understand why the hell thy would do that. as it the restaurant is so costly.
To get there the route is a bit tortuous, by land you have to follow a path and some very tortuous stairs, while by sea you have to take a small boat from Positano. The place is really lovely, the rooms have nice bathrooms and the furniture is sufficient. I had the misfortune of not having a room with a sea view, so there was very little light. The quality-price ratio is good for the average of the place, but I wouldn't go back as it is located in a too inconvenient position to be able to get around the rest of the Amalfi Coast.
We are so glad that we have made the decision to visit this beach club, a great highlight of our trip to positano. the environment is stunning, service fantastic and tasty. we enjoyed a whole day sunbathing, drinking cocktails, eating great food and swimming in the...ocean we would have spent a second day here if it wasn't for bad weather! we had the caprese pizza and it was delicious. our waiter was brilliant, friendly and recommended us some beautiful local wine. will definitely recommend friends/family and will visit our next time on the amalfi coast. Thank you!
Quarto giorno in costiera!
