Small, very welcoming two-star hotel 5 minutes walk from Poschiavo train station in a period building. Comfortable mountain-style rooms with wooden furniture, clean bathrooms that are a little small but with all the comforts.

It was simply an excellent place where to pass New Year's holiday. Hotel Altavilla has 2 stars but they offer the service difficult to find in any 3stars hotels. The rooms are spacious and SUPER clean. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are big and new. The breakfast is rich, with fresh and local products. Gluten free breakfast is equally good and safe, as regular bread is put aside, far from everything. They offer many additional services like snow rockets rental. The staff is kind and always happy to help! Just so you know: there is no elevator in the hotel, but they will help you with the suitcases. A big thank to all the staff for you kindness and help! Die Lage auf dem Stadtplatz war großartig. Es herrschte eine richtig südländische Atmosphäre. Das Essen war sehr lecker und der Service war auch sehr gut.
