The restaurant is inside Hotel Sassela. We went for the spa and than to dine. It is a really relaxing place. The quality and firing of meat dishes is very good and the typical Valtellina dishes are excellent. Good list wine. Good whisky selection.I love their tableside beef tartare. Very professional staff. The decor from the 80's is nice and cozy. There is a coat check. Value for money. But best of all is that in this restaurant you can feel the owner's passion and devotion for his life's job.

Fresh local trout, varieties of unique local pasta (like pizzocheri) and a lovely selection of Italian wines make for unforgettable meals. Their meats are delicious and perfectly prepared one of the best beef dishes I've had. Don't miss this gem of a restaurant if you are lucky enough to enjoy the Valtellina area of Italy. You won't regret it.
