November 7th 2023. It was a cold and wet day. My partner decided to surprise me with an anniversary lunch. Some place special, he said. The food never disappoints! Always lots of options and all very good. With the experience of many visits. Since you can 't give completely clean vitos, let the atmosphere be only four when it 's a bit like a restaurant, but it doesn 't hurt at all! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €10–15
A lunch restaurant at its best. When you see the salad table, you already know you've come to a good place. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €10–15 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Although I had pictured a much more romantic setting for our anniversary, I know he did his best, considering the lack of options here in Porvoo that won't break our banks. I would definitely come back again in a heartbeat.

Kellari ' s dishes are absolutely delicious. We had lunch and the buffet was abundant and variable. There are always a great selection of both fresh and processed e.g. pickled veggies and salads. There are usually at least three various warm dishes, of which one is vegan a soup. Ethnic and fusion kitchen flavours, too. There ' s also a possibility to have a soup salad lunch that is cheaper. The service is warm and friendly, and even a small humorous chat is possible if you are not in a too much hurry. The restaurant itself locates in underground floor, from which the name Kellari =Cellar comes from. The place is rather small and therefore often crowded since the folks know the food is great . However on Friday at noonish, we easily found a table. Occasionally the chatter can be a bit too loud. Coffee/tea and a dessert is served every day. We tasted crepes and jam with whipped cream ah, heavenly! We even bought a home-made apple pie to take-away.
