What annie Mabilat likes about Chit Chats Cafe:
On our first visit to this restaurant, after enjoying a beautiful walk in Wickham, we decided to stop for lunch. The pub was clean and welcoming, with friendly staff. The food was amazing, especially the Lamb pie which was delicious and came in a generous portion. When the server noticed we had a dog with us, he brought out a big bowl of water and some treats for our furry friend. We would highly recommend this place... View all feedback. Stopped for Sunday lunch here after searching and seeing Google reviews of 'the best Sunday Roast '. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating and the pub was well presented, but the food was just okay. Big portions but pretty basic otherwise. Not the worst, not the best! View all feedback.

read moreNestled in a picturesque locale, this pub offers a charming atmosphere complemented by friendly staff. While many patrons appreciate the traditional British pub vibe and generous portions, experiences with food and service appear somewhat mixed. Some diners rave about the delicious pies and accommodating menu options, including gluten-free choices. However, delays in service and unfortunate communication lapses regarding orders detract from the overall experience. With new management at the helm, there’s hope for improvements and a revitalized dining experience. For those seeking consistent quality and attentive service, this establishment may still require some fine-tuning.
We enjoyed a large Sunday vegetable platter at a great price. It was so good that even our dog couldn't help but bark when the food arrived.
The pub is fantastic for dog owners with a diverse menu. The food was delicious and we left satisfied. We definitely plan on coming back.
