We had a fabulous lunch here in April. The staff was very friendly and helpful not only with food choices, but with directions for us out-of-towners. The food was excellent! I had the best gluten-free bread (toast) on a very tasty chicken salad sandwich. We loved the old buiding and appreciated the staff sharing some of its history. Wish we lived nearby so I could indulge often. Would love to go back. View all feedback.
What Megan doesn't like about The Oar House:
The Oar House was excellent. The service was fabulous. The waitress was quick to refill our beverages and made sure we had everything we needed, but didn't hover. The food was amazing. We ordered two appetizers and three entrees and all were cooked to perfection. Great experience. View all feedback.
Absolutely loved the experienceThe staff made everything more enjoyable and their recommendations blew me away.
We did reach out to the oar house and shared our frustrations with the visit.
We have dined here twice, both times as part of a large party and the service was greatThe rolls before your meal are so soft and delicious.
Have been sitting here for the vatertag brunch. they saw on the deck through the water that is a great place. kellnerin was nice, but forgetting our order twice and had to be politely remembered that we had ordered a drink from the bar that we had not yet received. eating was very good. children's menu is a little expensive, $12 for individual children's pizza. overall a decent experience.
The staff was friendly, helpful and prompt. the ambiente of the outer deck was great as it was eating.
