Food was fresh and delicious!!! I had friend scallops, onion rings and coleslaw. These may be the best onion rings I've ever had! Dusted lightly in seasoned flour and fresh fried. Same w the scallops. Dredged in light corn meal and flour, freshly fried, still moist inside but not soggy. Wow, great food! View all feedback.
What Jess Eanes doesn't like about Heberts:
We came here for lunch and got two cheeseburgers and a chicken sandwich. We requested cheese on both of the cheeseburgers. Neither one of them had cheese on them. They were both overdone. The chicken sandwich was overdone extremely dry no flavor. We will not be returning. it’s too bad because we were hoping for a nice family Atmosphere with good food and food was not very good at all. The total was $56 for three lunc... View all feedback.
Great fried seafood at a fair price. Will definitely be back!
A wonderful selection for breakfast options and very responsibly priced for the amount of food we received. The pancakes were delicious as well as the French toast! I highly recommend going here for a great breakfast!
Took my niece here and got the kids burger. it was charred and like a hockey puck. The waitress laughed and walked away when I said something. Her response was that it was a kids meal and you get what you get for the price. Plus the bathrooms had no soap or toilet paper and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in months.
Nice friendly environment. Lobster Benny definitely hit the spot on a cold early morning . I also had a slice of pumpkin pie that hit the spot .
It's right near the Portsmouth Lafayette Market Basket... But I have talked to many people at the store who haven't tried it... It's been there over 20 years (or more) never had a bad meal and it's great breakfast for a decent price. When You are getting ready to shop till you drop it's a great place to tank up first.
