The food was fantastic as always, the service was excellent, and the new wine menu is impressive. It has the best wine selection on Skye. Thank you, Simon and Matt! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Scorrybreac:
that was a mistake for me. I love that meat and fish is produced before location, the service was good. the food pairings did not make me sense, the textures were not balanced. I don't think that's worth the money. I am not refined enough to understand? View all feedback.
The food was excellent, but the portion sizes were too small, even with the extra canapés. We didn't feel satisfied after the meal and considered going to the nearby supermarket for more food, despite spending £100 for two. The service was just adequate for a restaurant that charges premium prices.
We’ve eaten in Calum’s restaurant every time we visit Skye, 2-3 times a year. The food is outstanding. It’s a limited menu but that ensures freshness and consistency. He’s a very talented chef. This week I had the monkfish and the flavour of the additional ingredients made it an outstanding dish, the smoked celeriac purée in particular. A little expensive (Skye rates! at £48pp and £3 for coffee a bit steep (a small piece of fudge tablet please We’ve never had anything other than an outstanding dining experience at Scorrybreac and cannot recommend it highly enough
We enjoyed a wonderful evening; the staff was friendly and attentive. The food was fantastic. Thank you!
The service was lovely, and the food was fantastic. They were also very accommodating regarding dietary restrictions!
Where better to go for a pre Christmas treat than Scorrybreac, one of our favourite local restaurants. It never disappoints the dishes are imaginative and beautifully put together, featuring local produce where possible and even some foraged embellishments (reindeer moss with our beautifully cooked venison loin, served up with pink fir apple potatoes cooked with rosemary and Douglas fir). A visit here is a real treat for the senses not to be missed.
