from the carrugio you can see after the entrance the view of the sea. small and even smaller the terrace that offers a beautiful view of the below lands were only 4 tables and 1 larger. all we need is sandwiches, focacce, bruschette flavored in various ways. I personally found them very greedy. the friendly director and the right price. View all feedback.
What genevakiwi doesn't like about Caffe Zurigo:
When in Italy you want to eat good food, but unfortunately this place fell well short in the food quality area. I should have known better when the menu has photos of the food on it and the photos look terrible. The only saving grace is that there are 3 tables on the terrace that have a wonderful view. We decided to stop here, traditional Italian food, good coffee. Try bruschetta with pesto, tomato and mozzarella.

Small restaurant that doesn't pay for me on the street. But when you pass the door and see the terrace with this splendid view of the sea, you are conquered! we ate delicious pieces and were served with a smile and a lot of goodness! Correct price! delighted with this discovery in this pretty city!
The view from the small balcony is great. We had good, basic Italian food for our luunch. Good value.
Although there is plenty of inside seating both by the bar and downstairs (where the toilets are also located) from the small terrace overlooking the ferry landing/embarking points and the harbour over to the islands is first class. The proprietors were very friendly and accommodating, the drinks were spot on and the snack lunch very enjoyable. Prices are unbeatable on a par with the view. We had been told that although Porto Venere was wonderful the people weren't. Everyone we met both here in the Bar Zurigo and elsewhere in the town, were quite charming. But it was early in the season.
