We stopped here for a pre-dinner drink, seated in the nice chairs just outside the entry door. People-watching was better than at the outer tables. Ordered two drinks, and were surprised to see them delivered along with plentiful munchies. Enough munchies, in fact, that we needed only one course for dinner later. The male server initially seemed abrupt, but with some smiles and a bit of Italian banter he mellowed. Th... View all feedback.
What Deborah Ferrara doesn't like about Bar Doria:
I read only now negative reviews and this is, after a week we stayed there. We have not been treated badly personally, but we breathe a heavy air and I think it's pretty little to be treated badly. Stratospheric position. tired and unconscious staff. long in serving. nothing
Beautiful place with terrace on the sea. absolutely recommended for those who go to Portovenere! at night then it is a magical place

I asked the bathroom and with the perennial and dark faces told me to wait outside (cable covid) a way not to have you between my feet. are to understand who works having so many people to serve the holder on the neck and definitely not satisfied economically. I forgot the aperitif without praise and without good infamy all in all.
Do the aperitif with this view has no price. you are on the rocks practically with the moon rising in front of your eyes. the very kind owner guided us in the choice seen the very rich menu. Good cocktails and trust me if they tell you they're strong! fly mule very well, and a lot. prices absolutely in the norm 7 or 8 € per head. great aperitif, I recommend it
I gave 2 stars just for the fantastic view. for the rest the staff, especially the waiter treated us very rudely. The climax was when the waiter turned my back without waiting for me to finish talking. Don't even give a torch to the pigeons because they'll shoot me for a while. for two crushed, 2 cans and 1 cup of strawberries (of which some rotten) we spent 25 euros.
