It... read more We found osteria Ca’ Cornera through Tripadvisor. We arrived there around eight, without a reservation. Already outside we were welcomed by a friendly cook. It appeared that they were awaiting a large company, which indeed arrived after some minutes. Nevertheless, they could help us and we could take a seat. As we didn’t have much time (we came by bicycle and wanted to get home before dark), we ordered a pizza. This pizza, a pizza napolitana, was very, very good. With water, beer and wine, we didn’t pay much. Satisfied and happy we cycled home.

Basic menu with just a few options and great value at Euro 22.50 for 4 courses with a beer or wine, water and coffee! Friendly service at no extra charge. Salumi (prosciutto, salami and pickles), wild boar stew with a square of white polenta, risi e fasoi duri (a great local dish of rice cooked in bean stock, mixed with the beans, then grilled until its crunchy, ricotta filled cappaletti with asparagus. A tiramisu like ricotto and amaretti biscuit dessert.
