We visited Porto Moniz yesterday during our holiday in Funchal on Madeira. A bus took us to the other side, the northwest, of the island. It was cold and windy and we decided to spend our time in this restaurant. We enjoyed the meal. We...had soup, bread, grilled pork and tuna pizza half a bottle of white Planalto wine. We visited Porto Moniz during a West tour of the island starting from Funchal. We had worked out that it was cheaper to have a lunch on the tour than have one locally in the evening in Funchal. There was nothing wrong with the meal,...and there was plenty of it including wine and beverages. To be honest it was good value. If you are looking for Haute Cuisine, then look elsewhere View all feedback.
