The food we got here was really delicious, especially the grilled swordfish. Clams were also very good. Olives in the starter were too bitter. The main issue is the prices in the menu don't correspond to what you get billed and drinks aren't even listed on the menu, so we ended up being charged €119 for a dinner for two, which seems out of range for this type of restaurant. It is the perfect description of italian cuisine: humble, kind, friendly and amazing flavour! Gerlando sat with us and told us the menu, the menu is what he has available with fresh products. His mother prepares amazing Caponata, he cooked mussels and pasta for us. He also has amazing wines. He is a nice person. I couldn’t have a better dinner for my birthday.

We were given and billed things we didn't actually order, and the prices on the (handwritten) bill were higher than what was presented on the menu.
Local restaurant with very very fresh food and simple ambiance! We were served by the owner, who was really sympathetic and kind. He even helped us to call someone in Italian to solve an issue. The food took a long time to come, but he warned us from that and it was because the plates were being prepared from scratch. If you are a tourist or a local, I highly recommend this place.
We did visit this place at 9pm, we were searching for some groceries (beer and bakery products). There are no price tags, so you have no clue what the price is. The owner does not speak English at all. We payed way more I suppose (based on previous experience with different shops). The shop offers very basic stuff of urgent need. The good news is it was open until 11pm. I wouldn't recommend to go there for anything less than a bottle of water. We didn't order any food at all. What I liked screaming parrots!
