It had a blackboard on the... read more This would not be everyone 's choice, being a local pub type experience, but we loved it. We dropped on this place quite by accident. It had a blackboard on the street with a few items from the menu written on. We were made most welcome by the effervescent landlord and encouraged to come in, come in . Dubious (and hungry) we decided to chance it . It was so good we returned each night until we flew home! On our first night we plumped for the Francesinha and settled down with a drink. We tried several other dishes during our stay and were not disappointed. Locals eat and drink here. Super Bock (local beer) is available in bottles, with Estrella on draught. Live sport is shown on the television (good atmosphere for FC Porto matches) and the clientele are nice. Takeaway available. Recommended.
