He recommended this restaurant and said it was where h... read more We asked our Uber driver who was born and bread in Porto where could we get an authentic Portuguese meal. He recommended this restaurant and said it was where he took his family. We were not disappointed. My husband had the most delicious roasted veal and just the smell was amazing! We were very well looked after and although I think we were the only tourists we were made to feel very much at home. My husband's family are from Madeira and it gave him the taste of home he was looking for! Highly recommend!

The meat was extremely soft and tender, doesn 't have a strong sear like I 'm used to but it was amazing. The potatoes were waxy and perfect. The picture doesn 't show how large the portions are. All was topped with chopped raw garlic which was excellent.

Great place , very nice people.
