Went in here on Sunday evening with my family. The food was delicious, I ordered the lamb shank and it was the nicest I have ever tasted, by a country mile. The staff were very helpful. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Bog Road:
Stopped in here on our way home from a charity skydive. Other places along the route wouldn't or couldn't take 25 people. It's a shame in this climate that restaurants refused this business. Anyway, The Bog Road had no problems accepting the group. The food was excellent, the staff were fast and efficient. Fair play to the Bog Road, our new pit stop when up around Portlaoise. Absolutely great place to go for a lovely meal. Great menu with something for everyone and at very, very reasonable prices. Lovely homely atmosphere with friendly and helpful wait staff. I would recommend anyone to come here to enjoy an evening of food and/or some drinks
