Very welcoming and attentive staff. A first floor location well decorated in Indian style. Nice varied menu. The food was high quality and plentiful. Right in the centre of town. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Mayur:
first I found the waiter a bit unfriendly. we went right after 10 o'clock into the sign on the fetus frankly said until 23.30 he said: “We close by eleven” I said if they can serve us before then we can’t eat it” he looked like he just caught me with his wife in bed. the food itself was at best average. I got butter huh my wife and son got tikka masala and when it came they were 100% all the same and they all lubrica... View all feedback.
I ordered takeout from this restaurant and I thought the food was quite enjoyable. The flavors were tasty and the serving sizes were generous.
Everyone is very welcoming here. This is a top quality Indian cuisine restaurant, the staff are professional and friendly, the atmosphere is warm and relevant. The food is very very authentic tasty and most importantly consistent... Pricing is pretty reasonable and is definitely worth it for the food. The location is ideal, situated in the centre of portlaoise town. Only note I would add is that parking is not readily available here and is not free until after 5/6pm. However that being said I will definitely be visiting here more often and I definitely highly recommend this establishment.
I went to this restaurant with some friends and we had a wonderful time. The food was fresh and tasty, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was great. We all had a good time and will definitely be returning soon.
This restaurant is most definitely Michelin star worthy . Best Indian food that I have luckily found to date .
We had a fantastic dinner at Mayur in Portlaoise. The butter chicken was rich and creamy, the lamb biryani was beautifully aromatic, and the mixed kebabs were packed with flavour. The presentation was lovely, the atmosphere cosy, and the service warm and attentive. Overall, a delicious experience.
