Edward's Waterfront - Portland

We had decided on a road trip from Adelaide to Melbourne unplanned with no booking reservations for food or accommodation neither did we research any of our stops so hopefully this will give us an unbiased view of our reviews.Came across this expensive looking bistro from outside but the menu looked inviting.We got served by Kevina who was so friendly and helpful. Our whole dining experience was wonderful, the food was lovely and wow the cakes! I was pleasantly surprised by the final bill which we felt was very reasonable and we would recommend this restaurant.I would like to point out that Kevina was almost single handily running this restaurant despite there being two other young girls there. We had a little wait for drinks and ordering but this was very clear to us from the start but Kevina kept saying she would be with us despite the others walking past us.I think what I am trying to say is the place was lovely and the young girls need to learn a lot from Kevina

Visiting the Portland area with an International VIP and decided to lunch at Edward's. Had We had read the recent Tripadvisor reviews We definitely would not have come here as they would have confirmed Our experience. Front of house was rude and standoffish matching the cold and miserable day outside, dining room almost empty. Ordering was a chore and Our simple questions where disrespectfully treated with the occasion roll of the eyes. Expensive, uninspiring and unseasoned food left Us all disappointed and hungry. Can't and won't recommend will not return unless the reviews improve. Great location and facility but You Guys need to overhaul Your front of House and Menu. Good Luck.

Lovely dinner - attentive staff - great view to the sea - delicious, innovative menu - comfortable place to be for larger groups or singles

Really enjoyed our dinner here. We had the extremely generous sized seafood platter, was definitely enough for 4 not 2 people. Was served by the lovely and attentive Kevina who was happy to answer all our questions and ensure our dietary needs were meet.
