The Great Lost Bear - Portland

Wow. Want a beer? They have over 80 on draft. Want some of the best bar food the area has to offer? They have that here. Fun atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommend the “angry bird” sandwich if you like hot chicken sammiches! Also kid friendly with a nice kids menu.

One of my favorite pubs for American Cuisine in the portland area. I don't drink beer, but they have a nice selection. Their menu is also robust with many options. The atmosphere is relaxing, especially the outdoors seating if you want a little more light. Parking is a bit tight if it's a busy time, but other than that, everything is good. The staff is friendly and helpful. The portion sizes are humongous!!

Very much felt like a locals bar in a great way. Food selection was all great options, I went with the dirty wings (sunday only) and cooked to perfection. Only downfall is ordered 8 which is really 16 (two pounds) but all very tasty. Craft beer selection is Maine crafts from call over. Great selection!!! Highly recommend and can 't wait till I return to Maine and come back.

From the time we sat down we were greeted by Abbey,she is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was great. And you get a lot for your money. You shouldn't leave there hungry. It was my son's birthday and,although they don't sing it, she still made it special. Awesome visit. Wide selection of beer as well. Food came out very hot as it should. A must check out

Huge portions and a great wing selection make Great Lost Bear an ideal spot to grab a quick bite and or a beer. When I say portions are huge I'm not kidding. We split our portion and still brought home half the plate so if you're visiting before a game or night out come hungry and have a plan for bringing home leftovers!
