Zaap - Portland

This is one of the best, if not the absolute best, Thai restaurants I've tried in the greater Portland area. The Tom Yum Soup is incredibly flavorful and has a nice kick to it. You can really appreciate the variety of herbs and ingredients in the dish. The red curry is a bit more soupy than expected, but it is rich in coconut milk flavor. I get the feeling it’s a family-owned establishment, and the staff are very friendly.

The service was exceptional, the food was delicious, and the prices were great! It felt very authentic, reminiscent of my time in Thailand. I highly recommend it! The atmosphere truly transports you to Thailand.

I finally got the chance to visit Zaap, and it’s quickly become one of my new favorite spots! It serves the best Thai food I’ve had in Portland. Everything is delicious and fresh. The Nam Tom salad, Lemongrass salad, and Deep Fried Ribs are absolutely exceptional. I can't wait to return and try even more dishes. Thank you for the fantastic food and service! The owner is lovely, and the restaurant's interior is warm and welcoming.

This is probably my favorite Thai restaurant in town. The food is delicious, the vegetables are fresh, and the service is friendly. It's usually busy, and with good reason! I'm so glad they made it through the pandemic. They are a great addition to the neighborhood.

ZAAP is fantastic, always friendly and always delicious. Like other folks on here, I appreciate the elevated spice level without sacrificing flavor. The pad kee mao with vegetables has become my favorite take-out meal during the pandemic, though the curries are also incredible. Thank you to Beer and the crew for feeding us!
