After attending a lecture there with some family and friends, we received a complimentary voucher for a meal since the lecture was free. The food was really good, but it was way too expensive! A half chicken was $28, a burger with fries cost $26, and a Croque Monsieur (a fancy grilled ham and cheese sandwich) was also priced at $26. The reception of our hotel thought this was in the direction of the suburbs, but the food and atmosphere make it good, the whole 10 minutes it takes to get there! Great spirited drinks and delicious options for gluten-free food like me! Food: 5/5
Pre made **** Mary was good, but barely a trace of vodka, which is always the risk you take when a bar mixed the spirit in the back kitchen vs pouring in front of you.Eggs Florentine missed the mark, but our bartender was friendly and tried his best to move along the rambling bar flies next to us that were on mimosa 5.
I'm not sure what has happened to this place but ever since the James Beard nomination, it has consistently disappointed! Everything from service to quality of food has just been very sub par! And it pains me to write this because Woodford was once our neighborhood go-to! Unfortunately, I can't say we'll be back
