Verdigris - Portland

Over the last five years, we have eaten at Verdigris several times and have never been let down. The three-course offering is a great value and lets you sample a range of dishes. This restaurant is definitely a top choice.

First visit to Verdigris for brunch after a good experience at dinner. The eggs scramble was delicious and so was the pork schnitzel with egg. The environment is clean and simple. Service was a bit lacking and portions were slightly smaller than I would have liked.

My husband and I went here for our 25th Anniversary. They gave us each a free glass of Rose for the occasion. We had TWO incredibly friendly and attentive servers take care of us. Service was amazing. The food was delicious. Prices were reasonable for such high quality food. The only minor criticism I would mention is that the portions are very small. I know it's a french restaurant and they go for quality over quantity. I was glad not to leave stuffed, like you often do when you eat out, but the portions could have been just a little larger. Overall, a great experience.

One favorite restaurants in Portland for so many reasons.

The heirloom tomato salad and pork appetizer are absolutely amazing. Almost all of the food we tried were wonderful and staff was friendly and accommodating. For $33, you get an appetizer, an entree, a dessert. It's really a very good value for the quality of food you get. The portion isn't very big but I think it's just right. Would really like to try their brunch next time!
