I met some friends here for lunch and there was no waiting time for a table. all the options of the food looked amazing and the riders were from this world! we sat in the back room, which was calm and cool. the mimosas were a great choice! all in all was a really sweet spot with really great eating View all feedback.
What Tiffy Lu doesn't like about The Observatory:
I ordered their coconut snapper. The dish sounded promising however snapper was NOT what was served to me. It was a bland filet fish with lots of toppings on it and basically nothing I expected from the description of the menu. My cocktail was nice and the bartender was friendly. The restaurant was okay, but the arugula in my salad had a bitter taste and some of it didn't seem fresh.
The food at this restaurant was fantastic, the atmosphere was great, and although it was a bit expensive, it was definitely worth it.
Perhaps this restaurant was excellent in the past, but it was a bit disappointing overall.
Just moved to the neighborhood and stumbled upon this cute little strip of Stark st. I’ve known of the Observatory for a while but didn’t realize this is where it was and had never been. We sat at the bar and ordered a couple drinks (I quite enjoyed my **** Mary.. while looking around at the eclectic decor. I got the lamb burger which has roasted red peppers and a goat cheese spread, it was delicious. My bf got the panko fish and chips which he also enjoyed. Both their regular and sweet potato fries were yummy as well. Service was good and staff were friendly. All in all a great little spot.
Omgosh these burgers were awesome! I believe the atmosphere was great to. Small little burgershop I never knew about just took my tastebuds on a trip to tastey land. Fries were great and loved that they gave you the stuff to put on your burger instead of already being on there. That's considerate on their part lol. Love the good food and virgin pina colada.
