This is the the best place for budget sushi in Portland. They are very busy so nothing sits long. The staff is competent and polite but very busy so don't expect a five star dining experience if you done in, just one of the best values in Portland. The salmon nagiri is especially good there. What Mary Lou R doesn't like about Sushi Ohana:
Nothing wrong with this place for a quick and relatively cheap meal. The place is clean, the folks are pleasant and the sushi- belt experience is interesting and fun. And, nothing wrong with the sushi, not particularly to my taste, too much goop over the rolls but perfectly palatable. My partner really liked the tempura. So nice, middle of the road food- but it's not fine dining or particularly great fish. So quick a... View all feedback.
4/5 This has become our go-to spot for cheap and quick sushi. No complaints about service. Only giving them 5 stars because they don’t always have certain plates out on the conveyer belt. Would love to see more side dishes like sesame balls, seaweed salad, edamame, tempura as well as sashimi on rotation. Will come back here again.
This is one of the few restaurants that stays open late on weeknights. While the 'boats' are charming, we typically order from the menu in the evening, especially as it gets closer to closing time. The prices for sushi are definitely some of the best around. Unfortunately, when we placed an order to take some items with us, we were missing one item, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars.
This restaurant was quite good. I'm a big sushi fan, so it takes a lot to impress me. They keep the conveyor belt well-stocked, which is always a plus. They could be a bit more creative with their offerings, but everyone has their own style. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.
This is the best spot for affordable sushi in Portland. The restaurant is always bustling, which means the food is fresh. The staff is efficient and courteous, but they are quite busy, so don’t expect a five-star dining experience if you eat in. However, it offers one of the best values in the city. The salmon nigiri is particularly outstanding.
Really good sushi. Multiple options. Only reason why it's not 5 stars is because they don't put out some of the menu items that I love (shrimp pop, dumplings, ice cream puffs). Not sure if there's a special day/time when they load them, but out of the 7-8 visits I've seen them once. I heard that you can request them tho. Otherwise, nice people and quick service.
