Contribute FeedbackThe reviews for this restaurant offer a mix of opinions. Some diners were disappointed by the high prices, lackluster service, and incorrect seating arrangements. Others found the food to be delicious and well-presented, with standout dishes like French onion soup, coconut flake prawns, and seafood platters. The atmosphere was generally praised for its relaxing ambiance and beautiful views of the river. The overall consensus seems to be that while the prices may be on the higher side, the quality of the food and the dining experience make it worth a visit for seafood lovers in Portland.
Overall, it was a great first visit and we will likely find our way there in the future. One note, which they have no control over, is that the planes taking off from the very near by PDX can get pretty noisy if you're sitting outside. Otherwise, the outside patio made for a beautiful view, and the sunset was spectacular!
Visited for my wife's and my 12th anniversary in which was her first time visiting. I had been before, many years ago. The drinks were amazing, the food was divine, and service was excellent.
Always terrific!! We miss the fabulous Sunday brunch; hope it's coming back?!
Love the view, it's the best out there on Marine Drive, too bad the food doesn't rise to the same level. Menu is pricey, and for the money, is unremarkable.
Wine was wildly overpriced. Rombauer Chardonnay which I get in other restaurants from $48 to $60 max was priced at $90. Absolute theft. The salmon special was FARMED SALMON. The waitress recommended the King Crab and Steak. The steak was tasteless and the King Crab was snow crab. I still can 't get what little taste there was out of my mouth. I 'm really disappointed. The Salty 's in Seattle has always been good. Don 't waste your money in Portland. There are some excellent restaurants downtown. I won 't specify because I don 't want anyone to think I am just shilling. This Salty 's SUCKED.
