I had some of the best jerk chicken at Yardie Ting that I've had in a long time. The rice and peas, plantains, and festivals were also amazing! I will definitely be returning. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Public Market House:
There are not many seats available after receiving your food, and some of the establishments were closed on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I had soup at Karmasuoptra and it was just okay. Perhaps other restaurants offer better options. View all feedback.
This is a great place to come for lunch in a lovely part of Portland. A very cute chill vibe. They have a large selection of food...something for every picky pallette. We got food from the Pie in the Sky and Big Skye Bread Company. It was delish food-large portions n the Maine thing...wonderful friendly service.
Had some of the best jerk at yardie ting that I had in a long time. reis and drilling, plantains and festivals were as amazing! will be back.
Delicious, varied, interesting yet inexpensive food. Fun place. What’s not to like?
Great friendly people, excellent choice of food from the various vendors, and a terrific artisan atmosphere all make this place a must visit when we go to Portland. Our top favorite is always SOUP from Kamasouptra. Hot, steamy and delicious, it comes with a freshly baked roll. Another favorite is La Cocina Dominicana. Their chicken stew is to die for! We're planning to go back soon to try out the latest addition to the vendor choice Pho Co. Their Vietnamese dishes sound and look like another experience well worth trying. A big thank you to everyone involved in this fine example of Maine enterprise at work, helping to provide us all with a real alternative to those dreaded big fast food outlets. Keep up the good work, guys!
This place is great for everyone! There are many flavors from around the world to try! Gotta give it a go!
