Ponderosa Lounge Grill - Portland

This restaurant is fantastic! I had never visited at noon before, but the atmosphere is wonderful. The spacious room is tidy and well-kept. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and the food is excellent. Christine is the perfect bartender! You can either request something specific or, if you're unsure of what you want, just mention your preferred alcohol and she'll work her magic! She's not afraid to get creative with fruit muddling. I tried the smoked salmon and the Belgian waffles, and both were absolutely delicious.

While waiting for the slot machines to open up, I took a stroll through the gas station convenience store located within the building. I really appreciated how it was connected to various areas without needing to go outside, likely because the hotel is attached. It was a nice way to avoid the chilly weather outside. I was also in the mood for a snack and some candy. After returning to Ponderosa, the slot machines were finally open. It’s a great place to play if you're into slot games. I liked that you could enjoy a meal and drinks while taking a break from playing. They have a full bar for drinks while you play. Although I didn’t order any food myself, the menu looked appealing as I scrolled through it.

Wow, what a pleasant surprise! I initially thought a truck stop would be disappointing, but I couldn't have been more wrong. We had a fantastic time! The atmosphere wasn’t at all unsettling, and the lounge had a nice, quiet vibe. The drinks were reasonably priced. The hotel, on the other hand, felt a bit overpriced for what it offered. Great bartender great service, great drinks, great music, great quantity!! So much fun!! 10/10 would recommend!!! If you can't dance, make a fool out of you! No one will judge you! Had a great birthday here with 0 drama and 100 new memories!

Kristin is amazing, she aims to please and she's very efficient! I've never seen a bartender work so fast and manage to acknowledge every customer with a smile and a kind word or two. The food was great! I had Spaghetti and meatballs with steamed broccoli on the side, the broccoli was a great choice! If I could give this place 10 ? I would!
