Went here for wings wing and than came back 1 week later since they had pozole as their special. I'm a pozole lover and this one was good! What seperates it from others in town is their wonderfully pan fried fresh tortillas they serve with it. Wings were top notch! hope to see the same again next year. View all feedback.
What ritu k doesn't like about Pollo Norte:
We got take out and I thought it was all right. It arrived cold, but I'll say that was prolly Uber's fault as I think they made a few stops before ours. The chicken was saltier than I'd like. I thought the black beans were tasty. Tortillas could have been better and salsas were kind of boring. Glad we tried it, but felt like it needed more flavor and oomph to compete with other chicken places in the city. Still glad... View all feedback.
I am impressed with this restaurant, I am happy with the group options of being able to get a whole chicken with all the fixings and tortillas. Make sure to order extra tortillas as the whole roasted chicken with all with the two sides, only comes with four tortillas. After being happy with the food ordering, I was disappointed with the service when actually ordering the food. The young lady was not very helpful or knowledgeable about the menu. I felt like she was unhappy about me being there ordering, I was a little dress down due to coming to order after work, and I felt like I was being treated differently. I felt as if the lady did not want to answer any questions about the menu, and I asked her about water to go, or water bottles for drinks and she kind of scoffed and was like we don't do that here.I would order again.
I always appreciate coming here as someone with food allergies. The staff is super nice and accommodating. It also helps that the food is super tasty. They also have a great selection of tasty salsas and sides.
I love Pollo Norte. You get a lot of food, and the cabbage they serve with the chicken is one of my favorite things ever. The only problem I have with their chicken is the drumsticks and thighs are tender and deliscious, but the breasts and wings are a little tough and dry. To be fair, though, the same is true for most chicken I get at restaurants. So maybe it's just the way chicken is. But overall, if you love chicken, I recommend! :
Gluten-free Mexican style chicken place. The chicken was juicy and well seasoned. We loved the beans, very tender and flavourful. The tortillas were delicious and pliable. The red salsa was delicious and the right amount of spicy. We didn't like the rice, it was a bit burnt, and the flavor was odd, maybe because it was burnt? Potatoes were a weird texture, chalky almost, and they weren't well seasoned. Customer service was great. They made sure we were taken care of when we expressed our dislikes. Would come again.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free
The other photos hooked my interest, and I am happy to report the experience exceeded my expectations! The chicken was delicious and the portions were very generous. I got a half chicken, which was almost too much to eat on my own. It would probably be great for two people to share. The sides were also very well done. I enjoyed the pinto beans and potatoes. The tortillas were unexpectedly delicious, and the salsa bar was actually decadent instead of feeling like an afterthought! Inside and out, there was plenty of good seating available. I'd recommend this place for eating on your own, with friends and family, or for a date!
