The food was rated 4 out of 5; I highly recommend the Shrimp Po' Boy and the Young and Congress St Salad Rock Steak. The atmosphere was a bit lacking at 3.5 out of 5 due to the dim lighting and rather loud music. However, the service truly stood out at 4.5 out of 5. We arrived at 9:58 PM, not realizing that the kitchen closed at 10 (even though the restaurant stays open until 11). The host, who might have been the ow... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Nosh Kitchen:
We were excited to try this restaurant under new ownership since we enjoyed the previous establishment. However, we were disappointed with our experience. The drinks were hardly drinkable and tasted like syrup. The poutine arrived cold and soggy, and the chicken wings were bland, served with ranch dressing that was more like watered-down sauce. Surprisingly, the carrots had more flavor than both the fries and the win... View all feedback.
A great find! My friends and I planned to go to another restaurant before a show at the State Theater, but ended up in Nosh after the other place quoted a long waiting period. We're so glad to find Nosh! Good beer selection, delicious mixed drinks, fast service and some fantastic dishes! My friends eat only ethically fried meat, so they were immediately pulled to the burgers when they read the record! You? re smash style burger so thinner and boiled, the other critics don't seem used to, but is clearly explained in the menu. Spicy Burger was one of the best burgers we've ever had. Nothing comes with a page that is somewhat disappointing for the price, but our table shared a basket that was fantastic! I think the prices are fair compared to other Portland restaurants and for the ethically conditioned ingredients, minus the exclusion of one side. Overall, Nosh is our new Go-to-Spot before we run two blocks for a concert! We're excited to return!
Nosh was pretty good! Their drinks were a little pricey for an average cocktail. Their service was friendly and pretty quick. We got the Mozzarella Sticks and they were absolutely delicious! The most melty and gooey Mozz Sticks ever? clearly house-made from scratch. The actual restaurant is small, so you may experience wait times and they don?t take reservations. I don?t think it would be a good place for large parties. Parking is street parking only. I would recommend Nosh for a casual bite to eat and apps.
NOSH is always our stop when in Portland! Wonderful atmosphere, great beer and cocktail selection and an amazing menu. You'll have to leave the calorie counting at the door but worth it!
Nice chill spot with good service.. Surprisingly ALL burgers have pork which is unfortunate since I don't eat pork.. I got the R-Bees sandwich which was good but I wouldn't say Amazing... fries had vinegar (what I ordered) and very good. Overall a bit pricey but a good spot. I even got to sit back and watch the end of a basketball game. #warriors
Nosh means snacking secretly, so this place is aptly named. Nosh is a gem with a great location. Good drinks, good food, good people. Service was outstanding and the staff are extra helpful. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that the music here is top notch, too. We started our night here planning we'd go to other nearby bars but in reality never left, and finished out the night here. There's something unique about this spot, and ymmv, but you owe it to yourself to come in for a drink and some fries. One of my favorite spots throughout Portland.
