This restaurant provided us with one of the best dining experiences we have ever had! The menu offered a wonderful combination of both unique and classic dishes. We were amazed by the delicious flavor combinations throughout our 90-minute meal. It was truly an unforgettable experience. The chef was incredibly friendly and displayed creative genius. We would absolutely return for the Omakase experience again!
This Japanese restaurant in the neighborhood is exceptional and welcoming, making you feel at home. The cozy atmosphere offers plenty of seating options, but I suggest sitting at the sushi bar where the skilled chefs will provide you with the latest and freshest options. We had an amazing meal with some of the freshest fish I've had in years. I highly recommend this restaurant.
I absolutely adore sushi, and was thrilled when we decided to celebrate my birthday at Momoyama. The sashimi and sushi were absolutely delightful, with incredibly fresh fish - something I have missed. Everything was so satisfying. The Momoyama roll was outstanding. Their green tea ice cream is imported from Japan. Both my husband and I were big fans of the matcha creme brulee. The waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. This meal was perfect for my birthday, and I am disappointed that we do not live closer to this restaurant because it would definitely become a new favorite spot for us to visit regularly.
Hiro san David took excellent care of us tonight. Excellent selection of unique Japanese inspired cocktails. 15-course omakase was a special treat for a special occasion. Will definitely return. The black cod was surreal. The expert traditional preparation of the sushi sets Momoyama apart from all the other sushi restaurants in Portland.
Wow, so so so good. We got the short ribs, the squid ink pasta, salmon and tuna rolls. Eel and tamago sushi. All super good! You will love it. Parking is on the street, not too difficult. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We ate so much we could barely walk! Lol
