Mccormick Schmick's Harborside At The Marina Portland

The food was tasty, and the hostess was outstanding, but the service was lacking. Our server was very friendly, but we felt completely neglected for an hour. We had to ask for our check multiple times, and it was the hostess who came to our rescue, proving to be amazing. While the food was enjoyable, for the price, I would prefer dining at Jake's Grill instead.

Didn’t want to give a negative review on Christmas eve but due to being escorted to our table then sitting for a solid 20-minutes with no acknowledgement from the server and no water/beverage service unfortunately the poor review is destined to be! once we did receive our drinks, sadly we had to wait another 20 to order apps and dinner. both food and drinks were incredible, though! it took initiative from my side to ensure we weren’t forgotten about, which i found strange because the restaurant wasn’t full at all. maybe just a tough day for the server, or she obviously didn’t have the required experience necessary or common sense as she should. next time, we’ll definitely be returning to the bar and not the dining room.

Even with reservations waited my party from four over half an hour for placement. eating everything was bland and subdued to say that at least. definitiw didn't think it was better then somewhere else I was. lachs was twice as big as the adult $45 that I found strange. calamari was decent. heavy fish was dry and seasoned. side are an extra 14-25 dollar.

New Year’s eve 2022. Worst in my entire life! 10pm reservation, we were early. They did not seat us until 10:20. Then they rushed us to have us out ASAP and BEFORE midnight. Food was terrible except the lobster. Dried out roasted potatoes and raw asparagus, both inedible. Our server was sweet.

Wait staff was super slow. We saw other parties that came after us that received their food first and left and we were still waiting. Bad experience.
