So. I've eaten at Mami a ton of times. I love the karaage, beef poke bowl, salmon poke, and the rotating grilled rice ball. Their katsu Sando and burger are also really good. The service is always top notch, as is their beer selection. The only reason for a 3 star rating last night was the fruit flies. I hate to be negative in my reviews, but they were relentless. A very small, fun restaurant. if they are for a food mixup, this is a good option. you can't find that in the portland. we starved all day so that we could try as much of the menu as possible and we were not disappointed by one of them!
I loved it absolutely. I am Japanese and I lived in japan until I was 13 years old. I came 8 years ago to united states and I tried many Japanese restaurants, but this place is definitiv up on it. I am very pleased that the quality of food and price. If they are on the look for some comfort eating and dear Japanese food, I will recommend this mami!
Eating was absolutely delicious, probably some of the best Japanese food I had in the usa. my partner and I order the takoyaki and gyudon. the atmosphere was very cozy and relaxing. the staff was also very friendly!
Absolutely the best karaage I’ve had in a while!! wonderful service and nice interior.
