This food was excellent. My wife is gluten intolerant and we were super excited to hear that only 2 articles on the menu (teque deads, and number 20) are not gluten-free. The aromas are amazing, we had the arepas and empenadas. I love the shredded beef. The beans and rice were great. We told them that next time we would try the Plantains. Note, on Saturday, shut down around 3pm to order for Post 5pm dinner quantity.... View all feedback.
What Jennifer F doesn't like about La Arepa:
Lack of Quality of food, inconsistency, overpriced makes this place garbage. Owners don't seem to care about theses issues. I took my mom here and I was embarrassed for taking her here. Empanadas we're soggy and under cooked. The cook didn't care and didn't offer to remake the food. Just like everything in this city, just a trash product and overhyped. View all feedback.
Very good venezuelan food. Empanadas, tequeños, arepas just delicious. Nice service definitely I going to come back again and again and again.Food: 5/5
I had a fantastic lunch at this restaurant, especially considering the price. I appreciated how easy the ordering process was on the tablet, and the signs provided clear explanations for everything. The food was both delicious and authentic. As an American, I would have loved to have the option to add some cabbage or another topping to complement the meat—just a personal preference! Overall, though, the food was phenomenal! Rating: 4/5.
The food was excellent and served quickly, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Rating: 4/5.
The quality of the food is lacking, and it's inconsistent and overpriced, which makes this restaurant disappointing. The owners appear indifferent to these problems. I brought my mom here and felt embarrassed for choosing this place. The empanadas were soggy and undercooked. The cook didn't even bother to offer to remake the food. Unfortunately, like many places in this city, it just doesn’t live up to the hype and feels like a subpar product.
Chicken and beef arepas, plus a beef empanada that had a fried plantain in it. Very tasty all around! But I should have gotten the spicy salsa.
