What User doesn't like about Hat Yai:
Points for juicy, flavorful, fried chicken?and friendly staff. Beef cheek was tender, BUT the curry that it comes in, is wayyyyy too salty (catered to the American palate), thai ice tea was wayyyy too sweet despite asking for a lower sugar level, food was slow despite no crowd, roti was wayyy too doughy, AND sticky rice was STALE AND HARD. This was my second visit to this wonderful gem, and I can't wait to return again and again. The place is absolutely spectacular! I typically order the Hat Yai Combo, which includes three pieces of fried chicken, sticky rice (my favorite), a pan-fried flatbread, and a delicious curry dip.
