Couldn't take pictures, because it was dark, but I had a fantastic chicken shawarma here. The chef was friendly and took so much care in preparing it. He even topped it with a kiss of hummus. It was flavorful and perfect with every bite. Probably my favorite shawarma on this block! View all feedback.
What Kunal N doesn't like about Habibi Sandwich:
Not sure if this qualifies to be called as a Mediterranean place. Ordered chicken shawarma, which was sort of a hybrid between burrito, burger and a wrap. Had to throw away the whole thing after a bite. Very disappointed. View all feedback.
This was one of the most authentic Mediterranean food we could have in Portland. The owner was a very nice gentleman who helped us pick the best food on the menu. We enjoyed our food so much and the excellent part was that they are open till midnight:
This is the greatest shawarma I ever had. No kidding, I never write reviews but this caught my attention.
I ordered the best lamb shawarma from here last night. It was freakin huge, Im a big dude and i was starving but i still didnt finish it. I look forward to ordering from here again. Also the baklava is really really excellent!
If you want to enjoy and eats great food in the town you need to try this place first, and I will recommend the Burger they made. it's #1!!!!
Habibi Sandwich was our first taste of the food truck scene in Portland. Located at 5th and Oak, this spot was a nice treat for a hungry traveler. The nice young man working there suggested we try everything. We totally agreed with him but unfortunately our waist line declined the offer. So we selected the “Lamb Shawarma Wrap”. It was on the money! The perfect combination of lamb, sauce, salad and tortilla wrap topped off with hummus and an olive. What a great meal for the price! Safe Travels My Friends!
