I have been coming here since it was a 1/3 the size, selling mostly Lebanese Pizzas View all feedback.
The lunch was so delicious and the owner was super friendly and made us feel at home. we have lived in portland for decades and have just discovered this jewel, but we think that habibi has our lists of the best medium-east food in the opposite tops! we ordered a meat mezza plate and lens soup that was enough for two to share
We came here because we were still hungry after we had brought a little bite. I actually came here because I wasn't disappointed with my last visit. the food was very rich and delicious. the amount of us was hungry and ordered the meat combo. I also ordered a side of the garlic sauce on the side because I love extra garlic. as result the expectations were fulfilled, we all have happy, full and very satisfied. I would definitely recommend to come here for dinner. the environment felt as if they were going through a renovation, so they expect that eating is tight and not very comfortable.
Simply the best. leo and its crew handmade simple eating that will require their middle east and even some dinge that will surprise. we go back and are never disappointed. Don't think, just go!
The owner is really nice and helped my gluten-free mother and I find what we could order! They also have a dedicated gluten-free plate that contains brot to dive in their delicious hummus. such good authentic taste in everything but definitiw a more upscale restaurant through the prices and atmosphere.
This was some of the best food I've had in Portland. I got the beef shawarma and my partner had the Habibi Mezza. The portion sizes were generous and well worth the price. The food was made fresh, even the naan! The meat and rice had an amazingly refreshing vinegar zing that kept it feeling light instead of heavy, and though I ate entirely too much food I scarcely felt weighed down. The hummus was velvety smooth and my partner did not let any go to waste. The one drawback is that the bathroom is not wheelchair friendly, but that's not as big an issue as it could be- the restaurant is cozy and the food is well worth it.
