Gyro House Se Portland

Good things in this place. I've been here for six years. Optimal parking. Friendly and fast staff. You never made my order wrong. The food is THEE's best medium-east food in PDX (I have lived my whole life here. It is hard to find places in Portland that actually give you enough food for what they calculate. This place gives enormous amounts of food 99.5% of the time.

2 stars are only for the good taste of food. BUT. 2 items ordered, was said pizza would take 30 minutes. No problem. Came back 25 minutes later and my order was ready. GREAT! The food was obviously ready before my arrival as my pizza was lukewarm. The gyro I ordered was ready when I came to the store. 20 minutes before finishing my pizza, ice cold. Definitely NOT impressed and based on the 1st impression, will NOT be back. Find a family-run food car, get better quality and service.

Really good food! Get it with the spicy sauce. so good.

Update We bought 2 Gyro's, 1 lamb and 1 spicy chicken. The spicy chicken wasn't for my pleasure. We had to pay for the feta. There was no Taziki sauce. It was so sharp on Curry that I couldn't taste anything else. A slice of tomatoes and that was all that was on it. Looks like they have new employees who don't do it the way they use it. Best Gyro is in town! Clean environment. They are currently based on Kovid 19 and are according to CDC guidelines. I loved the Baklava and Dolmas. Make sure to keep napkins close when you enjoy the tasty yams.

Got a gyro and swharma plate. Restaurant has a good sized parking lot just off Powell, easy access. Employees were friendly and professional. Food was affordable and portions were large. Honestly the shawarma plate could feed two people!
