I've been living in this neighborhood for about eight years, but I never managed to stop by this place until now. I just finished my first sandwich, and wow! It totally exceeded my expectations. It was perfect and very mild in flavor. The bread they use is incredibly authentic, and I'm so glad I decided to come in. I can't wait for my next visit! View all feedback.
What Casey Alton doesn't like about Grant's Philly Cheesesteaks:
The Philly cheesesteak was exquisite and exceeded all my expectations. It was an absolutely fantastic experience! They also serve cheese fries topped with bell peppers, onion, and meat smothered in nacho cheese. View all feedback.
Pretty darn good cheesesteak...I 'm not gonna bestow 'best in town ' on it, but it 's one of the best. Theres not much 'Philly ' about it except that it 's on Amoroso bread and wiz is an option Positives are the bread and the meat quality. Good stuff. Four star sandwich experience, great service. Also the house made chips are a real nice touch. Negatives are: Price $14 for a cheesesteak Cheese they just have regular provolone. Provolone piccante (aged) is the OG and makes for a better sandwich Sandwich is a bit greasy If you don 't eat quickly the bread doesn 't stand a chance
Excellent sandwiches, a hidden gem tucked into a corner.
Hadn't had a cheese steak in at least a year. It was pretty good, just extremely expensive $16 for one) I should have asked for onions...
The sandwiches are delicious (which is why I came for a second time from out of town) The woman who gave us our food stayed, made sure we were enjoying it, had a nice conversation w/us was very sociable. Definitely going back anytime I'm in Portland.
Good philly, Diane was friendly and nice. Would be a regular place to eat if I lived here.
