I have never been a fan of peas, but the peas in the Eggs Benedict were prepared so well that I actually liked them. The onion and smoked meat pieces in the Smorrebrod were excellent. I enjoyed the bread it came with. The ceviche was incredibly lemony in a delightful way - light and perfect. View all feedback.
What Glen Lubowitz doesn't like about Grain & Gristle:
I was disappointed with the obvious chip on the shoulder of our server. She was not pleasant and it showed in every interaction we had with her. I have no idea what that was about but it was from start to finish. This was my second time here and I was 50/50 on it so we gave it another try. We will not be back a third time. The food was just OK. View all feedback.
What is in a name eier benedikt- I have never loved to snatch, but these were so well prepared- I liked the thorny and smoked pieces of meatsmorrebrod like the brot it came with - the ceviche was super limonie in good wise- it was light and perfect
It was a little from where we lived. our first waitress obviously didn't know much about the menu, they gave us false answers to our asking. at the input we were asked to show our vaccination cards that we had all six, but it wasn't very nice. the dinner was not great. I wouldn't tell anyone to waste her eating experience here, especially in the face of the waiting staff.
Quaint ne portland neighbourhood restaurant with a unique brunch menu! the atmosphere was fun and the service was good. I love sharing teller and I have savory and sweet bite. the cavendish is an amazing nutella stuffed french toast with bananen zimt rum carmel and hazelnuts! what a great court to share. I also shared a large burger that was so tasteful with very delicious pickles, blue cheese and speck. I look forward to another visit!
This place has really been wrong. on the first look a hole in the wall with handcrafted and outside sitting. go in and the friendly staff welcomed me and my friend immediately, and within a minute we sat in a warm, beautiful outdoor sitting area, with a small fire and custom wooden tables. first cute points acquired. our waiter, chris, was very friendly, fast and knowledgeable over the entire menu. we had uttered and the pain that jour had to start with accusations. he brought out utterances that immediately took my head in the sea. (Calgons I sat there trembling and tried to understand what just happened between the oysters and house blueberry vinegar and my own face when the board came out. marconi mandeln. termine. 2 sorts fresh warm brot in a special bag with a hot stone. 3 can be with a hot personality. homemade pickles (cloves?! woah apple slices. ingwer crowned. sprouts. radishes. fancy butter (it tastes better because it's beautiful) just as I didn't think my brain could understand more excellently, they'll bring out the blue cheeseburger and a nasalat. my ladies and gentle worms. that wasn't a common burger. my friend and I shared it, and how we saved in half. incredibly quiet. Eyes wide. brain lit up like the 4th juli. not even chew the second chewing gum because we tried to understand how. I can say with full enthusiasm, trust and honesty that it was the BEST Burger I had ever lived in my 30-year-old. I don't know how the salat tasted so rich, but it was nothing but amazing. radicchio, harder green sunflower shoots, and others no nonsense heavy hitter of the leafy plant world. tossed and lay there on my teller, waits for experience. we finished the night with a blood orange drink with tequila and red. It was bold, bitter and unapologetic. If I could give a restaurant a standing owation, I would. this is a valuable gem in the menagerie minen of pdx restaurants. Don't miss it. take someone special. they both deserve it.
Love the food and ambiance at this place. Food is seasonal and local. Great drink options too. Whether you sit inside or outside, the mood is just right to enjoy a yummy meal. Thanks for feeding me!
