SUPER food. Had the fried rice with basil and took it to the Sundown pub next door. Husband is scarfing it down after stealing it from me. Take this as a warning. Don't share. Order your own. Sharing is at your own peril View all feedback.
What Adam C doesn't like about Drunken Noodle:
This is th second worst Thai food we've had in Portland. We spent over $50 for two dishes and after just a few bites we had to give up on trying to eat it. Everything can be described as watery. The Thai tea was watery, the yellow curry was bland the heat was the only flavor offering), the pad see ew was just flavorless.Food: 1/5 View all feedback.
I ordered the Drunken Noodle (N1), Yellow Curry (C7), and the spicy Basil Fried Rice (F1) with extra veggies. The food arrived quickly and steaming hot. The flavors were fantastic! The vegetables were cooked to perfection, maintaining a nice fresh crunch. The medium spice level was just right for me—had a nice kick without being overly spicy. I would definitely recommend it and plan to order again.
I ordered the drunken pad Thai and pad kra pao, and both dishes were quite good. We also tried the gyoza, which was also tasty. However, we ordered two Thai iced coffees but received teas instead. If you're ordering food for delivery, I recommend skipping the drinks.
We've been visiting this restaurant since it first opened, and it's wonderful to witness how well a Lao-American owned business is thriving despite the challenges. My partner and I will definitely miss this place when we move to a different area of town!
Disappointed with the portions and amount of meat. They came in traditional chinese to go containers wich i get the food you get delivered-is to go but never have i gotten it in the Chinese to go cups. Portions are smaller when delivered in these boxes and they barely had any chicken as it is, very disappointing . Will not order from here again.
Took twice as long to get my food as I told. crab rangoon were good, but lukewarm. noodles good, but not great
