This is one of the best authentic Italian restaurants around. Everything is made fresh from scratch. The view is fantastic, and the atmosphere is relaxed. What MarkM doesn't like about Caro Amico Italian Cafe:
Took my wife, my mother and mother in law to dinner for my wife's birthday. The waiter did not even bother to ask if we wanted anything to drink, then brought bread. We ate the bread which was hard and may destroy your mouth (maybe that's the plan) then the waiter starts bringing our orders without clearing any of the dishes from appetizers. I thought I would surprise my friend with a birthday dinner at your restaurant. Neither one of us had ever eaten there and to our surprise, its now one of our favorite restaurants in town. The service was beyond belief and the food when better. The owner come over to our table to say hello and offered a discount card as a gift for my friends b-day. I would recommend this Authentic Italian Cafe to anyone who looking for home style Italian food.
One of my favorites authentic, both staff food! I prefer the Bar, which could be described as cozy, but to those who can't get a table, damn small fills up fast very old school feel, great happy hour menu too!
