Caffe Mingo - Portland

Odd setup with two restaurants next to one another with virtually the same name. One serves pizza, one doesn't. The one that doesn't, where we ate at, had good service, but overpriced, small portions, not really well prepared. Small portion of bland lasagna and very greasy lamb pasta special. Wine was good, not too expensive per glass. Should have eaten next door at the restaurant that serves pizza.

I had the pasta del giorno. amazing! it has perfectly paired with the house white wine. the taste of pasta was simply perfectly salted only enough cheese and saw not overwhelm the aromes of huh and tomaten.

Delicious Italian cuisine that is not smokey. very good portion sizes, incredibly friendly and competent staff. highly recommended!

One of our favorite places in all portland. they have fantastic Italian cuisine. they also have great drinks like negronis and manhattans. her brot is so good it comes with salt and olive oil, but leave her place for the starters and even dessert. they also have excellent special areas. Post-Covid they have a fairly large outside space on the way as well as the same space they always had. I get in the regular lasagne because it is not something we would normally cook, but everything is great, we have tried most of him over the years. also consistently excellent service and many of the same employees for years. can not recommend this location enough.

It was wonderful to eat there after several years and bring our daughters. one of the best Italian restaurants in all portland and the $5 valet parking right behind the location makes everything quick and easy. best pasta I had in extremely long time, and the desserts were incredible.
