We arrived in Portland after many hours on the road fighting the April Fool's Nor'easter. We picked up our daughter from MECA and proceeded to find a decent place to eat at (9:00PM-no reservations. Boda was our third choice and we desperate! WHAT A GREAT SURPRISE!!!! We let our waiter, Brent order for us. We told him preferences-daughter, vegetarian and no meat for Catholics on Fridays during Lent. Each Tapas, App, Soup and Entrée he chose was absolutely fabulous. He and the other staff were beyond courteous and helpful. Service and attention was that of any 4 star elegant restaurant anywhere. Price was reasonable for all the food we had, plus two glasses of delicious Chardonnay. We'll be back and hope others will try this Gem on Congress. Trust me, you will not be sorry:
Best version of mussels I've had in... forever. Just the right amount of spice.
This meal will forever be a very memorable meal to our trip to Portland. I ate the beef patang and it was EXCELLENT. My husband had the pad Thai and loved it and we shared the quail eggs. The flavors were so fresh and great fast service.
This was my second time in Portland and my second visit to Boda. It was so good I had to come back and it did not disappoint! The food is exceptional, the cocktails are great, and the service was very quick. I will not hesitate to come back when in the area.
My husband and I had dinner at this restaurant recently and we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered! I had the curry, rice ball, and tofu skewers. My favorite dish was the rice ball, although everything was delicious. It was quite crowded for dinner on a Saturday night with an hour wait, but we opted for takeout which was prepared promptly.
